Wilson Centre Office Refurbishment

The Wilson Centre represents a central hub and is vital to the public facing operations of Hull City Council, therefore any closure of areas even on a temporary basis is critical to their operation. However, with careful programming and management in conjunction with the Client and their teams Voase Builders achieved handover a week early in a seven week programme.

Works briefly comprised: strip out of various fitted furniture elements and finishes for replacement; supply and installation of new bespoke furniture, including new welcome and office desking, scanning station positions; relocation of existing ‘sit and serve’ booths; and construction of a ‘secure staff zone’, all to facilitate a new IT based operation.
