S Voase Builders Ltd continues to be involved in the ongoing development of Humber Street by completing the shell refurbishments and rear extension works at Number 59. Externally works comprised a new roof covering following repairs to the existing King Post Truss roof structure and repointing of all elevations in lime mortar, along with new aluminium windows and shopfront. To the rear is a new extension with balcony on top, accessed from the 1st floor.
Internally the existing first floor was completely removed and new steelwork installed to carry new 1st floor structure. The existing flat ceilings upstairs were completely removed and new ceilings formed to show off the existing King Post truss arrangement.
Working closely with the Wykeland as the Client and their Project Managers LHL Group we are proud to have helped rejuvenate such an old building into something now being fitted out by a tenant.
